Jupiter Lighthouse Tours

The Jupiter Lighthouse was completed in 1860 to help guide ships along the shore. During World War II, the area near the lighthouse was used to train Allied soldiers in deciphering the enigmatic German U-boat transmissions. Later in the war, the area near the Jupiter Lighthouse also trained the first servicemen in radar technology. This is just part of the fascinating history you’ll discover at the Jupiter Lighthouse museum.

Tour the newly restored 1860 Lighthouse and climb 105 steps to the best view in Palm Beach County. The Jupiter Lighthouse is open Tuesday - Sunday, 10am - 5pm, the last tour leaves at 4pm. From January to April the lighthouse is open seven days a week.

Manatee Queen Boat Tours

Tour on the Intra coastal Waterway along Jupiter Island or for a romantic evening, enjoy the sunset cruise. For more details on tour times and rates, visit the Manatee Queen Boat website

Sea Turtle Walks on Jupiter Beach

Palm Beach County’s beaches provide critical nesting, foraging and developmental habitat for threatened and endangered sea turtles. Guests of the Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa have front-row seats to observe the endangered loggerheads, leatherbacks and green sea turtles laying their eggs during for their annual nesting process. Although beach goers usually don’t harm sea turtle nests because they are buried deep in the sand, we ask that all of our guests respect the areas that are marked in any fashion.

To witness this natural phenomenon without disturbing the turtles, we encourage guests to sign up for the Escorted Turtle Walks offered by the Loggerhead Marine Life Center. Located just minutes from the Jupiter Beach Resort, visitors learn about the nesting process while scouts comb nearby beaches to find a turtle that is laying its eggs. Should there be nesting activity that night, tour attendees will be invited to join the scout and experience the process up close. Guests will also have the opportunity to see the sea turtles that are being rehabbed at the nonprofit education and ocean conservation facility.

Check out the action with this Florida Beach Sea Turtle video.
